Cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth, ASC, uses RED ONEs and EPICsto expose The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

With its suspenseful, violent and downright creepy tale of a crusading Swedish journalist (played by James Bond star Daniel Craig) and messed-up, but brilliant, hacker (Rooney Mara) as an odd couple who team up to solve an old mystery, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo seems like the perfect follow-up project to The Social Network, director David Fincher's acclaimed portrait of another kind of obsessive mind. Based on the international best-seller by Stieg Larsson, written by Steve Zaillian (Schindler's List), and shot by frequent Fincher collaborator Jeff Cronenweth, ASC, who also lensed Fight Club and The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, while it also happily plunges into the darkness, looks to be one of the brightest spots in cinema of the past year.
