Key Code Media Shows Off New Avid
Written by Laura Pursley
Many other exhibitors debut new products on Expo show floor.
Last week I shared a few of the new technologies debuting at the Entertainment Technology Expo here. As the Expo doors opened in Burbank yesterday, more were unveiled.
PROMISE Technologies is debuting their brand new VTrak Monitor™ in booth #504. VTrak Monitor is a revolutionary mobile application that enables customers who have deployed PROMISE VTrak Ex30 systems to remotely monitor their systems through an iPhone, iPod or iPad device.
As they did at the New York Expo, Litepanels (booth #507) enjoyed showing off their new Hilio High Output Light. Utilizing an array of 72 one-Watt daylight LEDs that are focused to a 10° angle, the H2 Hi-Output washes the set in Litepanels legendary HD-friendly LED soft light.
In booth #610, GB Labs launched Space SSD – offering filmmakers, post production facilities and broadcast environments solid state storage that is more than 30 times faster than traditional spinning disk storage. Dominic Harland, director, GB Labs said, “We understand that filmmakers aren’t likely to go completely SSD, but some editing tasks do require high performance storage that spinning disks can’t match”.
Attendees of Createasphere’s Entertainment Technology Expos expect to see the latest technologies. And now it seems the Expo is a place to show off tools that are only days – or even hours – old.
At our September Expo in New York, Evan Schechtman conducted a live demo of FCP 10.0.1 hours after its release. And today at our Burbank Expo, Key Code Media will feature an exclusive Media Composer 6.0 demonstration (a release just announced by Avid). Stop by booth #303 to reserve your appointment.
Catch these and other exciting tools for content creators as the Entertainment Technology Expo continues today (11am-4pm). Free registration is available onsite at the Burbank Marriott (2500 Hollywood Way, 91505). Full schedule and more details available at www.createasphere.com/expo.
